Types of Service Dogs

We train medical alert and response dogs for various conditions such as POTS, cardiac related issues, diabetes, migraines and many other conditions that may cause fainting or life-threatening symptoms. These incredible dogs are scent trained in detection of certain markers, such as heart rate changes and blood pressure changes. Dogs learn to react and assist in a timely manner to keep their handlers safe.

These dogs are extremely versatile and assist with conditions such as PTSD, Agoraphobia disorders, chronic depression and anxiety disorders and much more. They can be scent trained to detect cortisol shifts as well as trained to perform behaviors that make navigating life outside and inside the home much easier for their handler.

These unique working dogs are trained to assist those who are deaf or hard of hearing by nudging or pawing their handler to the sound of a doorbell, a phone ringing and more. We also teach our working hearing canines to alert the handler when they are approached and addressed by another person.

These dogs are trained to detect life-threatening allergens in their handler's food in order to keep them safe. They tell their handler this by pawing, nudging or sometimes even through the act of grabbing a tab on their gear.

We train service dogs for assistance with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well. These dogs are trained to bring a comforting and consistent atmosphere to their handlers and make social interactions and much easier for them. They are trained in grounding, crowd control and so much more to enhance their handler's experience, keep them from becoming overstimulated and more.

Guide dogs are dogs that help people who struggle to or cannot see. We will not be training guide dogs until we have the specified training for this type of dog. We do, however, train sighted guide work for people who struggle with dizziness and tunnel vision.
